We want to enable our clients to tell their own stories to the people and organisations who make decisions that affect their lives.

We host regular online and face-to-face events that bring together our network of community and faith groups, voluntary sector organisations and statutory services. We support clients to speak at these events, either in-person or through videos, so that their voices are heard in the discussions about the challenges we face and how our network can work together to better support local residents.

Below are some of the films that were first played at our Help Through Hardship Crisis Project events. If you’re interested in speaking about your experiences, you can contact us using this form.

Kitty, Clare and Anna talk about their experience of accessing advice during the pandemic.

Valentina, Astrid and Laiza spoke at our fourth annual Help Through Hardship Crisis Project conference. This event was also delivered in partnership with WCEN and themed around the hardships and inequalities caused by Covid-19 and the national lockdown.
