Citizens Advice Wandsworth’s Disability and Social Care Advice Service (DASCAS), is here to give independent advice to residents of the London Borough of Wandsworth about benefits and services. The service is for people with disabilities and the relatives and friends who care for them. Our DASCAS service offers telephone advice, home visits or office interviews.

When you contact DASCAS a volunteers will take your details and will provide you with initial information or advice and if appropriate, book an office or home appointment for you. If you telephone us when the office is closed (or if our lines are busy when you call) please leave a message including your contact number and we will call you back as soon as we can.

Background to DASCAS

DASCAS became part of Citizens Advice Wandsworth in October 2016. Its aim is to empower disabled people living in Wandsworth and their families and carers and to improve the quality of their lives through access to benefits and services. Its key work is to encourage take up of disability benefits.

The service is funded by Wandsworth Council, City Bridge Trust and Wandsworth Clinical Commissioning Group.
