    Need help with Universal Credit?

    Our national Help to Claim service can help you make a new claim for Universal Credit, from opening your account to receiving your first full payment.

    • Call the helpline on 0800 144 8444 (read about call charges)
    • Call 18001 then 0800 144 8444 if you can’t hear or speak on the phone – you can then type what you want to say
    • Use the SignVideo website if you need to speak to an adviser with a BSL interpreter.
