Roehampton Community Week 2022
To celebrate Roehampton Community Week (RCW), between 12 and 21 August 2022 community groups will be running events and activities in the Roehampton and Putney Health area.
RCW is a week-long event created by the Roehampton Response Network and led by our My Roehampton project, an award-winning initiative that supports the development of a thriving community and voluntary sector in Roehampton. My Roehampton works directly with people, groups and charities to help them become more confident, engaged and effective at addressing issues that affect local people.
The first RCW in 2021 involved 37 events attended by 1,800 people. Participants refurbished three communal areas, ran an outdoor gallery to showcase local artists and raised over £60,000 in funding for community organisations. It also helped change narratives about Roehampton, demonstrating the strength of its local networks and the value of engaging with its residents.
This year we hope that RCW exceeds its previous achievements by offering a range of community led events and activities for everyone, including kids, adults and families. For more information you can check the event guide or visit the:
